Immigration Fees
Clear advice, personal service and strong representation. We aim to provide transparent information about our professional fees from the outset.
The fees shown below are estimates for straightforward matters. The final fee may vary depending on the complexity of your case, the amount of supporting evidence, your immigration history, the number of applicants, any previous refusals, the urgency of the work and whether additional representations are required. We will assess your circumstances and confirm the agreed fee in writing before beginning work. We will not increase an agreed fee without explaining the reason and obtaining your agreement.
Our indicative professional fees
All professional fees shown exclude VAT. VAT at 20% is charged where applicable, generally for clients based in the UK. VAT is not normally charged to clients resident outside the UK. We will confirm the VAT position and total fee before you instruct us.

- Travel, courier or biometric appointment charges
- Work following a refusal or appeal unless expressly included
Disbursements: These are costs payable to third parties. We will tell you which disbursements are likely to be required and provide the available cost or estimate before incurring them. Third-party charges may include VAT where imposed by the provider. Home Office fees and the Immigration Health Surcharge are set by the Government and may change.
Key stages and timescales
For a straightforward application, we normally aim to complete preparation within two to four weeks after receiving all the requested information and documents. Urgent preparation may be available by agreement. Home Office and tribunal decision times are outside our control.
The work will normally involve taking your instructions, advising on the requirements and prospects, providing a document checklist, reviewing the evidence, preparing the application and representations, obtaining your approval, submitting the application where instructed and advising you about the outcome.
Who will handle your matter?
Immigration matters are handled by Alvyn Kee, Solicitor and Head of Immigration, who was admitted as a solicitor in 2007 and has experience in personal and corporate immigration, nationality, refusals, appeals and judicial review. Work may be assisted by other appropriately supervised members of the team.
