Qazi & Co Solicitors Limited is seeking an experienced Family Law Consultant Solicitor to join our friendly and growing practice. This opportunity would suit an established family lawyer who wants greater independence without having to manage the administrative and regulatory responsibilities of running a separate firm.
Unlike many consultancy opportunities, you will not be expected to rely entirely on your own following. Qazi & Co can provide suitable family-law enquiries and cross-referrals, subject to availability.
Recommended fee-sharing structure
- 65% of collected professional fees from clients you introduce
- 40% of collected professional fees from work provided by the firm
- Monthly payments accompanied by transparent fee statements
- No arbitrary billing targets or minimum office days
The work
Your caseload may include:
- Divorce and separation

About you
You should be a solicitor of England and Wales or Chartered Legal Executive with substantial family-law experience and the ability to manage matters independently.
An established following is welcomed but is not essential where the candidate can demonstrate strong client-care skills, sound commercial judgment and an interest in developing a practice with support from the firm.
You will retain control over your working pattern and caseload while benefiting from the reputation, infrastructure and support of an established high-street practice.

Qazi & Co Solicitors Limited is seeking an experienced and dependable Paralegal to support active matters across immigration, housing, family law, civil litigation and landlord and tenant work.
The role
- Progressing routine matters and maintaining accurate case files
- Taking client instructions and preparing detailed attendance notes
- Drafting correspondence, applications and witness statements
- Preparing court and tribunal bundles and reviewing evidence
- Communicating with clients, courts, counsel and public authorities
- Monitoring deadlines and attending hearings or conferences where appropriate

Duties

- Draft and review legal documents including tenancy agreements, notices, affidavits and court pleadings

- Conduct legal research and remain up to date with developments in housing legislation and case law
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies addressing complex housing challenges
- Manage a busy caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service and compliance with deadlines
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor with relevant experience in housing law, or a strong desire to develop expertise in this area
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills
- Strong understanding of current housing legislation, regulations and case law
- Proven ability to handle complex legal cases with attention to detail and professionalism
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, courts, authorities and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

About you
You should be a solicitor of England and Wales, Chartered Legal Executive or suitably qualified housing-law professional with relevant casework experience.
Experience of Legal Aid housing work, CCMS and the Legal Aid Agency’s requirements would be advantageous. Existing supervisor status is highly desirable but is not essential for every applicant. Applications from newly qualified solicitors with strong housing experience are also welcomed.
