Effective 29 October 2026
Immigration consultation booking, cancellation and rescheduling terms
Booking and payment
Consultations are available for up to 30 minutes at £100 plus VAT (£120 including 20% VAT), or up to 60 minutes at £150 plus VAT (£180 including 20% VAT). We confirm whether VAT applies, the scope, format, date and total fee before booking. Payment is by bank transfer using instructions and a payment reference supplied privately. An enquiry or payment alone does not confirm an appointment or acceptance of wider instructions; the firm will confirm the arrangements separately.
Consultation scope
The consultation covers discussion of the information available, potential options and next steps within the agreed scope. Detailed refusal reviews, document checking, written advice, applications and representation are separately quoted unless expressly included. Further work requires separate agreement.
Changing or cancelling an appointment
Please email alvyn@qazisolicitors.com or telephone 020 3161 5450 as soon as possible, quoting your name and appointment date. Requests to move an appointment are subject to availability. A message requesting a change does not itself confirm a new appointment. No automatic late-cancellation or non-attendance charge is introduced by these terms.
Refunds
If you cancel before any agreed consultation work has begun, we will refund the consultation fee in full. If work has already begun, any amount retained must reflect work properly supplied under the agreed scope and applicable law; there is no automatic forfeiture of the full fee. If the firm cancels, we will offer another appointment or a refund for services not provided. Statutory rights are unaffected.
Consumer bookings made remotely or off premises
Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations apply, you may cancel within 14 days after the consultation contract is made without giving a reason. Contact the firm using the details below with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use the model form below, but do not have to. Send your cancellation before the period expires.
We will not start the service during that period unless you expressly request it. If you request an early start and then cancel before full performance, a proportionate charge may be payable for services supplied before cancellation, provided the required information and consent requirements have been met. The statutory cancellation right is lost after full performance only where you expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that consequence. Any refund due under the Regulations will be made without undue delay and within the applicable statutory time limit, normally 14 days after notice of cancellation, using the same payment method unless otherwise expressly agreed without additional fees.
Requesting an appointment within the cancellation period
“I expressly request Qazi & Co Solicitors Limited to start my agreed consultation service before my 14-day cancellation period expires. I understand that, if I cancel after work begins but before full performance, I may have to pay a proportionate amount for services supplied. I acknowledge that I will lose my statutory cancellation right once the service is fully performed.”
If this applies to your booking, we will ask you to make this request separately in writing. Sending an enquiry or paying the fee does not by itself give this consent.
